BUILT FROM EXPERIENCE

Sometimes, a family just wants an estimate.

What if someone visiting your website to find a phone number for an estimate could build that estimate right there?

That simple question became Funeral Estimate Pro. Created by William A. Reed, a fourth-generation funeral director, it makes costs easier for families to explore while keeping funeral homes in control of their information.

FOR FAMILIES

Information at their own pace.

People may be planning ahead, comparing options or simply trying to understand what is possible. They can explore services, see an itemized planning estimate, and print or save it without giving their name or email, creating an account or joining a follow-up list. Their selections are not automatically sent to the funeral home.

When they are ready to call, they can bring a clearer sense of their options and questions. Your personal guidance remains essential.

A FEW COMMON QUESTIONS

Before you begin.

What does it cost?

Funeral Estimate Pro is $30 per month or $300 per year, per funeral home/website. Annual billing saves $60 compared with twelve monthly payments.

Do I need a new website?

No. Add a link or button to your current website. Your estimator opens separately, so your existing website can stay in place.

Can we change our own prices?

Yes. Your funeral home enters and maintains its own services, prices, products, branding and price-list documents. Changes to prices or disclosures require a new provider review before publication.

Do families have to sign in?

No account is required to use a published estimator. Selections are remembered in the visitor’s browser, and the itemized estimate can be printed or saved as a PDF.

Can we see how many people use our estimator?

Your private dashboard shows anonymous monthly and all-time totals for estimator visits, itemized estimates viewed, and print/save button use. These measure visits and actions, not unique people. Each activity is counted once per page load. Demo visits, private previews and signed-in administrator activity are excluded. Print/save counts show button use, not confirmation that a print or PDF was completed. Counts begin when tracking is enabled; browser blocking and automated traffic can affect totals. The counters do not store names, email addresses, IP addresses or estimate selections.

Does this replace our General Price List?

No. It is a planning estimator. Your complete, current price lists and normal arrangement process remain necessary. Disclosure templates and review tools assist with aspects of the FTC Funeral Rule but do not guarantee compliance. Each funeral home remains responsible for its information and all applicable federal, state and local requirements. See subscription information.

Can we add pictures from a product brochure?

PDF import can suggest pictures and names, including from scanned brochures. Review every match and enter your prices before saving. Complex layouts may need individual photo uploads. Website and CSV import options are also available.

How do we get access?

Submit an inquiry and we will respond with setup information and a private invitation. Your dashboard guides you through signing, subscription payment and configuration. New accounts can publish only after signing, confirmed payment or approved access, and provider review. You can explore the fictional demo before committing.

How do renewal and cancellation work?

Your agreement and Stripe checkout show the renewal terms before you commit. Manage an active Stripe subscription from your customer dashboard. Canceling renewal normally stops the next charge while retaining already paid access through its end date, unless service is suspended. Read subscription information and your agreement for cancellation, refund and support details.
